Herrman is a mild mannered sort, and gets talked into all sorts of strange experiments. (a Gemini, I shouldn't wonder). He has definite metaphysical abilities but is so wrapped up in being adorable that he hasn't developed them. He is younger than Grizelda, by more than a few years , her boy-toy of sorts. He is 30, but still unemployed and living with his parents!
