Friday, 13, July, 2001 at 22:00:31So, you want to know what the "point" of Grizelda is?

Do we even need a point? Why not just laugh?

Ok, ok; well, remember, YOU asked! (pulls up stump, climbs on)

Well, the point is just this; laughter brings us all closer together. The more we know and understand each other, the less we hate. If wanting to rid the world of hate is bad, then I'm guilty as charged!

The alarming murders in Africa of what is now almost 1000 people accused of Witchcraft, Sorcery, etc. should be an impetus for all of us to get off our collective keisters and try to educate people about alternative paths. Whether or not Grizelda's choices are yours or mine is not the point; we all need to be involved!

Members of past generations of my own family were killed under this stupid excuse; one was a midwife/healer and one was listed as a "wart rubber" (a sorcerer because he could administer healing); both devout Southern Baptists. Yet their lives were taken with no more concern than a dandelion seed in the wind. Blood was called for and taken by ignorant hordes containing the very people they had helped.

Stop the hate before it strikes someone YOU love.

Lift up your brother/sister into the light, lest they wallow in darkness...
